This latest proof-of-concept robot is driven by BrainOS®, a commercial operating system. Brain Corp specializes in developing transformative core technology for the robotics sector.

The BrainOS® commercial operating system has been specifically developed for the deployment, production, and support of AMRs (autonomous mobile robots). Presently, the innovative technology powers a host of machines within the robotic floor care sector, including the ones developed by SoftBank Robotics, ICE¸ Minuteman, and Tennant. Besides this, Brain Corp has recently announced a partnership with a Copenhagen-based leader in the cleaning space, Nilfisk.

The latest product of Brain Corp, which is an autonomous tug powered by BrainOS, has the capacity to operate across a wide range of public environments, allowing the continuous delivery and transportation of goods from one point to the next.

AutoDelivery has the potential to tow a number of standard cart types and offers easily automated and customized delivery solutions for both retail and commercial facilities, and also for factories and warehouses. The application of the latest robotic system of Brain Corp will allow users to enhance their workflows, minimize interruptions, increase efficiency, and boost productivity.

This planned expansion beyond floor care and into the delivery space has primed BrainOS to become the industry standard when building AMRs. Cited as the world’s top Autonomy Solution Provider by ABI Research, BrainOS and its promise of form factor and application flexibility is well represented through our introduction of AutoDelivery.

At present, Brain Corp is looking for prospective manufacturing partners for the autonomous delivery robot and estimates to introduce the product in the market in early 2020. The innovative product will be presented in Chicago, Illinois, from April 8th to 11th at ProMat Show 2019.

The integration of BrainOS into not just another form factor, but an entirely new vertical outside of floor care further proves the robustness and extensibility of the BrainOS platform. With the introduction of a delivery robot powered by BrainOS, we are another step closer to fulfilling our vision of a world where the lives of people are made safer, easier, more productive, and more fulfilling with the help of robots.
